sugar and spice

Finally (6 years) after being asked by many customers to hold a retreat...we actually went ahead and did it !!!! Now I won't deny that it wasn't a lot of hard work, but oh boy the gratification was AMAZING !!! It all started on the Friday, off we trotted to Latimer Place, this was such a beautiful venue...Paula Poston, you chose well :) :) the view from my bedroom window was amazing We couldn't get into our conference room until 6pm for set up, so we used the time to relax.... Here's Nina relaxing and well, I'm not going to show you Paula relaxing as I'll get in trouble ;) Whilst we were sitting there some of our lovely ladies started showing up... As you can see there was an abundance of biscuits ... Look at our lovely Val and Suzanne, trying to get project info out of Paula...LOL !!! Once we got in our room we worked like billy o to get it all set up, then joined the girls for dinner....and my oh my what lovely food, couldn't fault it in any way Here's...

I've been a very very very bad blogger. I've never neglected it so much, I'm sorry, but since January I honestly haven't stopped, I've been to the States twice, teaching with the wonderful WOW Embossing Powders along with teaching at the NEC twice for them, then I've had Ally Pally, back there in September with the girls :) :) loads of QVC :) :) although I can rest from that now as I had my last show on the 29th April, and what a fab show it was :) :) and now it's all about the SUGAR AND SPICE RETREAT....oh boy, myself, Nina and Paula are bringing you an amazing weekend of FUN and CREATING....it's come round so quick and there's so many of you, here's a little sneak....of just ONE of the projects you'll be doing I've kept myself going with a bit of sustenance ...and of course shared with Nina and there's a bar waiting for Paula, as long as she's not too brown after her stint in Spain :) Alongside helping with all the prepping for ...

Well, it's our last day today, but it's not going to be a stroll in the park ...oh no, this is the longest day, but it's been such fun, everything has been fabulous, although I was Billy No Mates at one point in the restaurant... If you look close enough you may just spot me in the corner... LOL At the make and take last night there was plenty of cake to keep people satisfied. Here's a close up of the red velvet....OMG....it was delicious And here's Mary Ruth just finishing her make and take and waiting for her husband to finish his. Everything has been so good, but I can't wait to get home....I've got so much to do...QVC on the 29th at 7 & 9 pm (outlet 7pm to midnight) then it's full on for the Sugar and Spice Retreat...woo hoo Hugs xxx - Posted using BlogPress from my iPad

well the troubles in Boston are all over, but we never felt worried, why? You ask !!!! Well, we were locked up in our castle... OK so it is lacking a moat but no one was going to storm this LOL.. We're on day two of teaching, yesterday was fab and EVERYONE is so lovely, they couldn't be more friendly and helpful. From lunchtime today it's completely full on, till we take our flight back on Sunday evening, then we can relax :) :) By the way, went to an Italian last night and had a wonderful chicken Marsala and finished it off with a cheeky cannoli ... ....All safe and sound. Got to say, in all my years of flying, I have never been on such an empty plane, obviously to do with the fact that it was going to Boston, but out of our cabin of 36 seats there were 7 of us !!!! Anyhoos, the sun is shining and we had a quick trip to Target, where I couldn't resist these... The photo doesn't do them justice, the colours are gorgeous and they've got such a fine tip...LOVE !!! We went to the Cheesecake Factory yesterday, it was Richards' first time, he was a bit overwhelmed, but loved it. I meant to take a photo, but as usual remembered AFTER I'd eaten it !!! The classes start today, it's all getting a bit exciting, the retailers are very lucky, the goodie bags alone are amazing !!
