WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE….

OK…. be honest, who remembers 'Spoils' the kitchen shop ? I certainly do … and my favourite thing about it was all the miniature kitchen utensils. The tiny little scoops and the dinky little grater - I just loved them and would buy them and never use them but they looked cute !!! Well I still love dinky - along with non-dinky, I have to say as my husband is 6' 4" … but there is something about small things, puppies, kittens etc…although I do draw the line at chocolate, that should NEVER be dinky. It was this love that got me thinking, I love designing and creating stencils (I've really got into Art Journalling lately) so I decided to create some mini stencils I've called Dinkies…. You can check them out HERE , but here's one to whet your appetite, I hope you like them as much as I do. And this time round they're getting used, not like my mini grater !!! All the lucky subscribers to The Sugar Studio Kit got one in their box this month !! Hugs M

GETTING COLOURFUL ....

I'm very fortunate that I have some fabulous friends in this industry. And although we're all incredibly busy we get to meet up every so often. From the possie of Leandra Franich, Julie Hickey, Paula Pacual, Emma Godfrey, Jo Firth Young and Lin Brown, only three of us were able to meet last week, namely Emma and Paula, although we missed the other guys, it didn't stop us eating, chatting and playing for the day. It started with Paula sharing some of her lovely new Tonic products.... You absolutely need the pearlescent pastes .... They're gorgeous .... Then off to the pub for a rather satisfying lunch, then back to mine where we put Emma on the spot...'show us some art journaling......... Pleeeeease' And of course, Emma being Emma duly obliged, so out came my PaperArtsy paints and stamps along with my stencils and inks.... After being taught step by step, I can honestly say I'm hooked.... So much so that today after the gym myself and the lovely Polly cam

ABOUT TIME ...

Well it is isn't it !!! About time I blogged again. I feel so bad as I made a promise to myself (and you guys) when I closed my shop that I would blog EVERY week... What happened there ???  My first excuse is America (twice) Frankfurt and Birmingham and that's just the trade shows... In between that are all the classes. I just need another 3 days in the week please...  Frankfurt was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G... So busy and I got to speak German... Danke and weinerschitzel were two widely used ones 😂😂 I reckon a few more visits and I'll be fluent!! The NEC was sooo busy and fun fun fun as always. If you follow me on Periscope you'll have seen what we got up to and if you couldn't join us live then you can watch it on Katch. Some yummy food consumed at the Irish bar in Frankfurt. Ingrid, Tania and myself having a group hug before the show began. Ingrid and myself at the end of the show, I think Tania was in the floor. Now we're on our way to Brum. This

WHERE IN THE WORLD ???

OK, it's official, I have become the WORST blogger. I just don't know where time goes and all the other Social Media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Periscope, I'm on them all) are so much quicker and easier to link and post to...Blogger you need to do a 'quick link' just for me... Mwahahahahahahah!!! Anyhoo's, I'm finally here now, but where am I??? I'm in California at the fabulous CHA 2016. I'm here with WOW Embossing Powder 'playing' on their booth and oh boy are we having fun :) :) CHA never fails to prove to me how giving, sharing and caring this industry is and it started on the first day with the gorgeous Barbara Gray, there I was struggling with a rather large box that I could just see over the top, when she stopped me, and insisted she carry it for me, I mean...HERO or what!! She makes it look so easy. !! Thank you Barbara 😘😘😘  I also got a little giddy at the fact that our neighbour is the o
