I've been a very very very bad blogger.
I've never neglected it so much, I'm sorry, but since January I honestly haven't stopped, I've been to the States twice, teaching with the wonderful WOW Embossing Powders along with teaching at the NEC twice for them, then I've had Ally Pally, back there in September with the girls :) :) loads of QVC :) :) although I can rest from that now as I had my last show on the 29th April, and what a fab show it was :) :) and now it's all about the SUGAR AND SPICE RETREAT....oh boy, myself, Nina and Paula are bringing you an amazing weekend of FUN and's come round so quick and there's so many of you, here's a little sneak....of just ONE of the projects you'll be doing

I've kept myself going with a bit of sustenance ...and of course shared with Nina and there's a bar waiting for Paula, as long as she's not too brown after her stint in Spain :)

Alongside helping with all the prepping for the retreat, Nina and Barb have been doing some fabulous classes, along with this one coming up on the 22nd June...Nina's flag book..... Bookings now being taken :) :)

Barb's working on a fabulous Craftwork Cards kit for you watch this space for those details..
We've had some fabbi deliveries in the shop this past many NEW papers...

Lots of NEW flowers...

Plus lots more that we haven't even got out on the shelves yet !!!!
Then to finish my very stressful week off....I received my copy of the USA Papercrafts mag with one of my projects in proud AND honoured !!!

It shows a jewellery box I made and adorned it with 'buttons' using the moulds and WOW Embossing Powders, in particular the fabulous Pearl it :) :)
Talking of moulds, we have a delivery (fingers crossed) of brand NEW moulds coming in on Tuesday.....#exciting. And just in time for our Retreat :) :)
Right I must stop blogging and get on with prepping for the Retreat...
Enjoy this gorgeous sunny day everyone

Oh how I wish I'd had the money last year to book a retreat with you.

I feel very privileged to have been asked to design some cards using the fabulous Oakhouse Studio Products. Not only does she have some great stamps, ink pads and accessories but she also sells some amazing dyes that are so versatile, I love them !!! You have to check out her pipettes!!
Here's the first one of the three I designed.... You can check it out on her blog HERE, along with instructions...
I'll post the other two in the next couple of weeks ....
Enjoy xxxx

When it's a dress, of course !!!!
Here I've created a little bit of art using the fabulous JOFY stamps from PaperArtsy.
There's nothing not to like about these stamps, then again that goes for all of Jo's designs, simple yet effective and versatile.... See, they're not just for Christmas ... Makes you want to look at all your stamps and 'see' other ways of using them.

Happy December everyone Marion xxx

I'm very fortunate that I have some fabulous friends in this industry. And although we're all incredibly busy we get to meet up every so often.
From the possie of Leandra Franich, Julie Hickey, Paula Pacual, Emma Godfrey, Jo Firth Young and Lin Brown, only three of us were able to meet last week, namely Emma and Paula, although we missed the other guys, it didn't stop us eating, chatting and playing for the day.
It started with Paula sharing some of her lovely new Tonic products.... You absolutely need the pearlescent pastes .... They're gorgeous ....
Then off to the pub for a rather satisfying lunch, then back to mine where we put Emma on the spot...'show us some art journaling......... Pleeeeease'
And of course, Emma being Emma duly obliged, so out came my PaperArtsy paints and stamps along with my stencils and inks.... After being taught step by step, I can honestly say I'm hooked.... So much so that today after the gym myself and the lovely Polly came b…
