So, after the most sumptuous meal on the Saturday evening....Mmmm I can still taste it, Sunday dawned.
After a rather tasty and filling breakfast (it was all about the food of course) we got cracking on our third project.

This was All About embossing techniques...such fun !!!!
Here's our little Dawny showing off the ring she made....

Now, we know our customers very well, mainly because they've stayed loyal to us for so many years...we are blessed !!!
So....hands up who're received the "most improved embosser" reward.....

Yep it's our lovely Vanessa, what this girl doesn't know about embossing now is no ones business :) :)
Here's our lovely Lisa showing off her wonderful only took her a weekend to grow !!!

Here's some of the girls collecting their prizes.....lucky ladies :) :)

Big thanks to our lovely friends at Premium Art Brands, Imagination Crafts, QVC and Artemio for donating some FAB prizes.

We asked everyone to make a name badge and throughout the weekend they were judged by each other. We had a prize for the best one.....but, seeing as how amazing everyone's were, there was a tie break... So Alison and Claire got a prize each :) :)

So after a rather yummy Sunday roast, we continued the afternoon with Cardmaking, they made 4 fabulous cards designed by our lovely Nina.
AND was home time ....ohhhh the tears !!!!
We had THE MOST AMAZING weekend and we know our girls did also. Thank you ladies you made it so special. We love you :) :)
But, you know I couldn't have done it without the help from Nina and Paula, so to thank them for all their hard work I took them to Henlow Grange for a day of pampering. We all so deserved it :) another two amazing people to thank are Ricky and Skip for all their help. But they went to work the next day :)

But, it doesn't end when we got into work on Tuesday we were greeted with three beautiful boxes of chocolates and flowers, all from our lovely retreatees. THANK YOU

So Saturday dawned....after getting the room set up on the Friday night we were all relaxed on Saturday morning and enjoyed a lovely breakfast...needing to build our energy !!
Our room was lovely, so spacious...

Here's one side....

Here's part of the other...oh and there was a bit in the here's a panoramic view of the whole thing..

Here's a few more of our lovely ladies slaving away....

Sam kindly bought everyone a CARAMAC...

Sara kindly shared her birthday with us :) so we MADE her stand up while we belted out 'Happy Birthday'
Our first project was a gorgeous mini album, a nice little starter for the weekend...

Here's Alison working on page three..
We then went on to make the 'BIG BOY'....this was rather special...

And they all loved the set of stamps they got with it !!!
This project took us till the end of the evening, but not before they all made a ring using the Melt-It and silicone moulds. It was then onto dinner and the bar to finish the evening off....ready to start all again tomorrow....... More to follow...

Finally (6 years) after being asked by many customers to hold a retreat...we actually went ahead and did it !!!!

Now I won't deny that it wasn't a lot of hard work, but oh boy the gratification was AMAZING !!!

It all started on the Friday, off we trotted to Latimer Place, this was such a beautiful venue...Paula Poston, you chose well :) :) the view from my bedroom window was amazing

We couldn't get into our conference room until 6pm for set up, so we used the time to relax....

Here's Nina relaxing and well, I'm not going to show you Paula relaxing as I'll get in trouble ;)
Whilst we were sitting there some of our lovely ladies started showing up...

As you can see there was an abundance of biscuits ...

Look at our lovely Val and Suzanne, trying to get project info out of Paula...LOL !!!
Once we got in our room we worked like billy o to get it all set up, then joined the girls for dinner....and my oh my what lovely food, couldn't fault it in any way

Here's our lovely Linzi and Tracey enjoying their meal.
Then it was back to the room for us to carry on setting up.

Paula and Nina proudly showing off the shop set up, I can't remember what time we finally finished setting up, but I know the evening finished off in the bar...

Oooo errr missus, check out Kats legs !!!

And here's our lovely Kat in full.....cheers Hun !!!
Then it was bed, ready for the fun to begin...............
Part 2 to follow......

I've been a very very very bad blogger.
I've never neglected it so much, I'm sorry, but since January I honestly haven't stopped, I've been to the States twice, teaching with the wonderful WOW Embossing Powders along with teaching at the NEC twice for them, then I've had Ally Pally, back there in September with the girls :) :) loads of QVC :) :) although I can rest from that now as I had my last show on the 29th April, and what a fab show it was :) :) and now it's all about the SUGAR AND SPICE RETREAT....oh boy, myself, Nina and Paula are bringing you an amazing weekend of FUN and's come round so quick and there's so many of you, here's a little sneak....of just ONE of the projects you'll be doing

I've kept myself going with a bit of sustenance ...and of course shared with Nina and there's a bar waiting for Paula, as long as she's not too brown after her stint in Spain :)

Alongside helping with all the prepping for the retreat, Nina and Barb have been doing some fabulous classes, along with this one coming up on the 22nd June...Nina's flag book..... Bookings now being taken :) :)

Barb's working on a fabulous Craftwork Cards kit for you watch this space for those details..
We've had some fabbi deliveries in the shop this past many NEW papers...

Lots of NEW flowers...

Plus lots more that we haven't even got out on the shelves yet !!!!
Then to finish my very stressful week off....I received my copy of the USA Papercrafts mag with one of my projects in proud AND honoured !!!

It shows a jewellery box I made and adorned it with 'buttons' using the moulds and WOW Embossing Powders, in particular the fabulous Pearl it :) :)
Talking of moulds, we have a delivery (fingers crossed) of brand NEW moulds coming in on Tuesday.....#exciting. And just in time for our Retreat :) :)
Right I must stop blogging and get on with prepping for the Retreat...
Enjoy this gorgeous sunny day everyone
