ABOUT TIME ...

Well it is isn't it !!! About time I blogged again. I feel so bad as I made a promise to myself (and you guys) when I closed my shop that I would blog EVERY week... What happened there ???
My first excuse is America (twice) Frankfurt and Birmingham and that's just the trade shows... In between that are all the classes. I just need another 3 days in the week please...
Frankfurt was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G... So busy and I got to speak German... Danke and weinerschitzel were two widely used ones 😂😂 I reckon a few more visits and I'll be fluent!!
The NEC was sooo busy and fun fun fun as always. If you follow me on Periscope you'll have seen what we got up to and if you couldn't join us live then you can watch it on Katch.
Some yummy food consumed at the Irish bar in Frankfurt.
Ingrid, Tania and myself having a group hug before the show began.
Ingrid and myself at the end of the show, I think Tania was in the floor.
Now we're on our way to Brum. This time I travelled in style with the lovely Leandra and Emma from PaperArtsy... We made it just in time for Sir Tim's class... Which by the way was fabulous !!!
Got to catch up with the lovely Karen Burniston , here we are showing off our gorgeous WOW! Rings.
Our most important secret stash at the show... Well a girls gotta have chocolate.
In amongst all this hard work and fun I got to make a couple of videos this week for Simon Says Stamp.

You can catch the first one here...
And while you're there why not subscribe to their channel and they'll tell you when they're posting the next. Enjoy

  1. Long time, no see. I love how you always manage to get a photo of food LOL and that chocolate stash looks pretty impressive.

3 and counting....

We’re at the 3rd trade show.... this year !!!!!!
To say I’m tired is an understatement, but there’s something about the shows plus adrenaline that just keeps you going.
There’s nothing better than teaching people new techniques and that’s what these shows are all about. That and having fun of course !!!
We’re all set up...this is the calm before the storm ;) we have so many new things to show this year, it makes it all the more exciting.
One of the best things about trade show shows is meeting up with buddies in the industry and even though I see Leandra and Mark (PaperArtsy) every week (we quiz together) it was great to go out with them last night.

Richard and Mark look like they’re praying, when in fact they were having a bald off 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Steve has more hair than both of them put together so as a gesture of kindness he hid his. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣  It’s now 6am, I’m ready to jump in the shower and get this day started... think of me standing from 8am to 6pm.... I hope you get to sit a lot m…

One for the Mums ...

In celebration of the fabulous Catherine Pooler Inks about to hit the store, I thought I'd pop a little card on here. Take a folded card base, I always make mine from card stock, then I know the piece on top is going to match perfectly. then cut a smaller piece and perforate the edges, you can use a perforating blade, if your trimmer has one, or there are many dies out there that do this in a snip ! Using the WOW! Embossing Powder Layered Hearts Stamps, I inked up and stamped using the Catherine Pooler Daydream, Aquatini and Skylight Inks.
Embellish with a Uni Ball Signo White Gel Pen, one of my favourites !!!
Finish off with the Mothers day sentiment from the WOW! Embossing Powder Everyday Sentiment Stamps, inked in Versafine Onyx Black, adhere with foam pads. Check out PAPERBOX for a great selection  of card stock. Thanks for looking
