I'M BACK...

I'd love to say I'm all organised and cooking on gas....but I hang my head in shame...I'm so not organised.
I've been sooooo busy since I closed the shop, don't get me wrong I'm not moaning, and I can honestly say it was the BEST thing I ever did. I'm so incredibly happy and relaxed and I LOVE my commute to work...LOL !!!
It's my little piece of heaven, I'll take some internal photos soon. One of the nicest things is I get to spend time with my lovely Tyson (my chocolate Labrador) admittedly he just sleeps nearly all day, but I'm there with him, he's getting on a bit, like us all.
Everyday I seem to be up to my eyes in it, designing, teaching, creating, working, cleaning (love me a bit of cleaning) I even managed to take mum to lunch a couple of times...not enough I know !!
Then yesterday I actually had a bit of free time, I'd done a video for WOW Embossing Powders the day before and thought 'hey, I'm going to do one for me' and YOU.... And this is the result, it was completely off cuff and may have gone horribly wrong but it worked !! Woo hoo !!
Now all I have to do is get sorted for teaching in Portugal then on to the States, Florida and North and South Carolina (just a tad excited) in September then it's our Retreat in October and thanks to the Paula Poston we're rocking that !!!
I will be back I promise
Hugs

  1. Such a long commute for you now Marion LOL.
Glad you have managed to spend some time with your Mum - I know that was what you were hoping.
The video is fun and the card is a little cutie - TFS.

3 and counting....

We’re at the 3rd trade show.... this year !!!!!!
To say I’m tired is an understatement, but there’s something about the shows plus adrenaline that just keeps you going.
There’s nothing better than teaching people new techniques and that’s what these shows are all about. That and having fun of course !!!
We’re all set up...this is the calm before the storm ;) we have so many new things to show this year, it makes it all the more exciting.
One of the best things about trade show shows is meeting up with buddies in the industry and even though I see Leandra and Mark (PaperArtsy) every week (we quiz together) it was great to go out with them last night.

Richard and Mark look like they’re praying, when in fact they were having a bald off 不不不不 Steve has more hair than both of them put together so as a gesture of kindness he hid his. 不不不不不  It’s now 6am, I’m ready to jump in the shower and get this day started... think of me standing from 8am to 6pm.... I hope you get to sit a lot m…

One for the Mums ...

In celebration of the fabulous Catherine Pooler Inks about to hit the store, I thought I'd pop a little card on here. Take a folded card base, I always make mine from card stock, then I know the piece on top is going to match perfectly. then cut a smaller piece and perforate the edges, you can use a perforating blade, if your trimmer has one, or there are many dies out there that do this in a snip ! Using the WOW! Embossing Powder Layered Hearts Stamps, I inked up and stamped using the Catherine Pooler Daydream, Aquatini and Skylight Inks.
Embellish with a Uni Ball Signo White Gel Pen, one of my favourites !!!
Finish off with the Mothers day sentiment from the WOW! Embossing Powder Everyday Sentiment Stamps, inked in Versafine Onyx Black, adhere with foam pads. Check out PAPERBOX for a great selection  of card stock. Thanks for looking
