Yesterday was our last full day :( :( :(
When we were out here in January we were lucky enough to meet up with one of our very special friends Jerry, and he treated us to dinner at Fogo de Chao. It's a Brazillian steakhouse that is just AMAZING...the service is impeccable, they make you feel so special and the salad bar is to die for.
The Gaucho's come round with different cuts of steak, there's also chicken, lamb, pork and sausages. But mainly you're there for the steak... NOT FOR VEGETARIANS !!! LOL they carve the steak at your table, all you have to choose is well done, medium or rare :)

They constantly reload your table with polenta, sweet glazed bananas (apparently they cleanse your palette between meats) and creamy yummy mashed potato.
We saved just a little room for dessert and went for the Brazillian Flan, on their recommendation .... And oh boy it was amazing, they knew we were there for a celebration and bless them, they decorated the plate :) :)

It didn't last long....

After that, we felt a wee bit bloated LOL, so went on a little journey to another favourite store....HomeGoods....oh mum you're going to love me so much when you see what we got you :) :)

We're driving back down to LA this morning and nipping into the Garment District to see if I can get some yummy bits :) :)
Nearly home...hope the sun's shinning !!!

3 and counting....

We’re at the 3rd trade show.... this year !!!!!!
To say I’m tired is an understatement, but there’s something about the shows plus adrenaline that just keeps you going.
There’s nothing better than teaching people new techniques and that’s what these shows are all about. That and having fun of course !!!
We’re all set up...this is the calm before the storm ;) we have so many new things to show this year, it makes it all the more exciting.
One of the best things about trade show shows is meeting up with buddies in the industry and even though I see Leandra and Mark (PaperArtsy) every week (we quiz together) it was great to go out with them last night.

Richard and Mark look like they’re praying, when in fact they were having a bald off 不不不不 Steve has more hair than both of them put together so as a gesture of kindness he hid his. 不不不不不  It’s now 6am, I’m ready to jump in the shower and get this day started... think of me standing from 8am to 6pm.... I hope you get to sit a lot m…

One for the Mums ...

In celebration of the fabulous Catherine Pooler Inks about to hit the store, I thought I'd pop a little card on here. Take a folded card base, I always make mine from card stock, then I know the piece on top is going to match perfectly. then cut a smaller piece and perforate the edges, you can use a perforating blade, if your trimmer has one, or there are many dies out there that do this in a snip ! Using the WOW! Embossing Powder Layered Hearts Stamps, I inked up and stamped using the Catherine Pooler Daydream, Aquatini and Skylight Inks.
Embellish with a Uni Ball Signo White Gel Pen, one of my favourites !!!
Finish off with the Mothers day sentiment from the WOW! Embossing Powder Everyday Sentiment Stamps, inked in Versafine Onyx Black, adhere with foam pads. Check out PAPERBOX for a great selection  of card stock. Thanks for looking
