QVC are getting ready !!! So on Friday I went up to West London and spent the day filming a promo shoot for their Christmas in July shows.... More deets to follow soon :) :)
Stephanie was doing some FAB crafting on cupcakes...actually, thinking about it, she didn't share any...I may have to have a word with her about that ... Hee hee

Amy was busy on cards and I was working on a Scrapbook...probably the three most important memory making elements in a crafters life !!!

The house we were filming in was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G !!!! From the outside it just looked like a three bed semi...BUT...Oh my goodness ...THE INSIDE !!! Well, stunning. Oh and did i mention it was far from a three bed had 5 bedrooms and seven bathrooms. !!!! I did get photos and videos of the place but I think it would be wrong to post them on here, one, because of the owners privacy and two, because you'd all be very jealous and have the hump !!!
After whizzing home through the London traffic, I got back in time to run the Hoover round and await Kirsty Wiseman's visit. She'd been in Essex photographing a friends talking of cameras I got my DSLR out, that I've had for about three years and have never taken it off Auto...well.....within 5 mins she had me shooting in MANUAL....I was like...OMG...I've just shot in manual !!!!
We went over to the shop in the afternoon and whizzed around the village shooting in manual (claps hands and pats myself on the back), will share the pics at a later stage, as I left my SD card in the shop..whilst my photographic skills are improving I can't say the same for my memory !!
The woman is amazing, her teaching skills are second to none and she explains it all in layman's terms...just what I need.
Anyhoo's the GREAT NEWS is, she's coming to Sugar and Spice at the beginning of September to run a one day class. I will be putting more details out this week. Spaces are going to be extremely as soon as you see them...get in there !!!
Right off to catch up on the Apprentice :) :)

I feel very privileged to have been asked to design some cards using the fabulous Oakhouse Studio Products. Not only does she have some great stamps, ink pads and accessories but she also sells some amazing dyes that are so versatile, I love them !!! You have to check out her pipettes!!
Here's the first one of the three I designed.... You can check it out on her blog HERE, along with instructions...
I'll post the other two in the next couple of weeks ....
Enjoy xxxx

When it's a dress, of course !!!!
Here I've created a little bit of art using the fabulous JOFY stamps from PaperArtsy.
There's nothing not to like about these stamps, then again that goes for all of Jo's designs, simple yet effective and versatile.... See, they're not just for Christmas ... Makes you want to look at all your stamps and 'see' other ways of using them.

Happy December everyone Marion xxx

I'm very fortunate that I have some fabulous friends in this industry. And although we're all incredibly busy we get to meet up every so often.
From the possie of Leandra Franich, Julie Hickey, Paula Pacual, Emma Godfrey, Jo Firth Young and Lin Brown, only three of us were able to meet last week, namely Emma and Paula, although we missed the other guys, it didn't stop us eating, chatting and playing for the day.
It started with Paula sharing some of her lovely new Tonic products.... You absolutely need the pearlescent pastes .... They're gorgeous ....
Then off to the pub for a rather satisfying lunch, then back to mine where we put Emma on the spot...'show us some art journaling......... Pleeeeease'
And of course, Emma being Emma duly obliged, so out came my PaperArtsy paints and stamps along with my stencils and inks.... After being taught step by step, I can honestly say I'm hooked.... So much so that today after the gym myself and the lovely Polly came b…
