NEARLY OFF TO VEGAS....

And.... Well you never know.
Sorry the posts have been a bit light on the ground of late, but that's mainly due to me being a complete tighty... You'd think in this day and age of technology wifi would be available without a cost..... But NO... The Marriott wants to charge $15.00 a DAY. Seriously, that's gambling money LOL
We're off to downtown Disney today for our last day in anaheim and then it's off to Vegas. Whoop whoop !!!
Had a lovely relaxing day yesterday at a local park, seriously check out the bad hair day on the ducks!!!
Check out the mahoosive strawberry waffle with just a little cream, bear in mind it was on a 9" plate !!
There's another picci here of the girls in the WOW booth. They were having a miserable time as you can see
Then last night saw us meet up with an absolutely fab girl by the name of Donna Valdez, I met her on Facebook and a friendship formed from there, we spent 5 hours at the cheesecake factory with her discussing everything from political correctness to funny sounding words, it was an absolutely wonderful night, thank you Donna !!!
I'm doing Kirsty's photo course when I get back, so I'll see what she makes of my shots, I'm quite proud especially the ducks and bird of paradise plant

3 and counting....

We’re at the 3rd trade show.... this year !!!!!!
To say I’m tired is an understatement, but there’s something about the shows plus adrenaline that just keeps you going.
There’s nothing better than teaching people new techniques and that’s what these shows are all about. That and having fun of course !!!
We’re all set up...this is the calm before the storm ;) we have so many new things to show this year, it makes it all the more exciting.
One of the best things about trade show shows is meeting up with buddies in the industry and even though I see Leandra and Mark (PaperArtsy) every week (we quiz together) it was great to go out with them last night.

Richard and Mark look like they’re praying, when in fact they were having a bald off 不不不不 Steve has more hair than both of them put together so as a gesture of kindness he hid his. 不不不不不  It’s now 6am, I’m ready to jump in the shower and get this day started... think of me standing from 8am to 6pm.... I hope you get to sit a lot m…

One for the Mums ...

In celebration of the fabulous Catherine Pooler Inks about to hit the store, I thought I'd pop a little card on here. Take a folded card base, I always make mine from card stock, then I know the piece on top is going to match perfectly. then cut a smaller piece and perforate the edges, you can use a perforating blade, if your trimmer has one, or there are many dies out there that do this in a snip ! Using the WOW! Embossing Powder Layered Hearts Stamps, I inked up and stamped using the Catherine Pooler Daydream, Aquatini and Skylight Inks.
Embellish with a Uni Ball Signo White Gel Pen, one of my favourites !!!
Finish off with the Mothers day sentiment from the WOW! Embossing Powder Everyday Sentiment Stamps, inked in Versafine Onyx Black, adhere with foam pads. Check out PAPERBOX for a great selection  of card stock. Thanks for looking
