IT GETS BETTER......

Oh my !!! you are being positively spoiled.... We have ANOTHER GIVEAWAY...YAY...I hear you scream :) :) Yes, you may do a happy dance :) :)
This time it's the wonderful WOW Embossing powders, now you know that I rate these among the BEST IN THE WORLD, and if you didn't know that... I RATE THESE AMONG THE BEST IN THE WORLD !!!
As usual, it's not hard to enter all you have to do is leave a comment and tell me what's the weirdest thing you've ever embossed, don't worry if you haven't embossed anything weird, just leave a comment anyway !! Please do NOT run to the zoo and emboss a penguin, as, whilst that would be weird it would also be very cruel :) :)
Shipments are on their way from CHA, so don't forget we have our MAHOOSIVE PAPER SALE on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th March, ALL 12' x 12" loose paper/card is in it...init !!!
Anyhoo's I'm feeling on top of the world as I've just tidied my craft room, only to mess it all up again, but it is a good feeling !!!
Hugs
Marion xx

I've emossed a mirror frame.

I love the WOW embossing powders. Particularly the thick silver as it stays true to it's colour.

I've never embossed before, but I've got some little snowflakes made of board that I want to emboss with my little girls so we can make pretty decorations for next Christmas (yes I know we've only just had Christmas but I'm being ultra organised for this year!!) x

I haven't tried wow! Embossing powders either but might have to give them a go now.

I have embossed metal flowers and burnt my fingers a few times. It's not weird though just usual for me:0).

Not sure I've embossed the wierd, but do like putting some stick glue on the edge of a piece of card when decorating and using as a topper, then dapping the edge in embossing powder & heating for an interesting edging effect. (I do sometimes use full-stops!) Bring on the WOW!

Embossing is a path I have yet to tread in my paper craft journey. WOW looks like a good place to start!

I accidentally embossed the carpet. I forgot I dropped a stamp, dropped some embossing powders and then thought that using my heat gun would be a good way to move the powder - it wasn't. I do have a nice pattern on the floor though.

Aw, missed your presence at Make It in Farnboroigh yesterday ( where I 'found' you last year).
Ok weird embossing....am ashamed that I once embossed the scuff marks caused by driving on the heel of my black and most comfy boots....I was going somewhere important and they weren't looking great! It worked, but was very temporary..if I'd had to drive I reckon I'd have been back at square one. The boots have been replaced, but I still have a pot of black embossing powder if I need it.

Birdie said...

I love WOW embossing powders, they're the best and I also love embossing!!! Not really embossed anything wierd - tried to emboss some ribbon once but it just shrivelled up!!Thanks for the chance to win xx

I would love to win anything so thankyou for giving me a chance. I never embossed anything weird but my first ever paper project as an adult was my wedding invites. I never had a heat gun so placed my iron underneath & embossed 80 wedding cakes. I don't recommend this but it worked .... Quite long winded this way so much easier using a heat gun :)

I purchased two WOW EP's at NEC year before last and I lurve them! Such gorgeous colours with beautiful glitter in some!
Not really embossed anything weird, I did emboss a skeleton leaf once. I inked it up with Versamark on a piece of paper, picked it up by its stem and poured embossing powder on it. I then heat set it - doh ! - it stuck to the paper!
Have done it since and remembered to pick the leaf up before heating it! Thank you for the chance to win some of these wonderful powders hugs karen x

Believe it or not it was a 'Paperclip' just needed a certain colour so what could I think of: and I agree with you WOW powders are the best ever

Oksana said...

Hi, I like to emboss my projects as it gives an elegant and expensive look! Got some on the table once and was a nightmare to remove, now use my glass mat all the time!

Marilynmcl said...

What about a PICTURE of a penguin to emboss then? :) I have embossed my big toe...does this count as weird....it wasn't intentional by any means ....I spilled my embossing powder and some landed on my bare feet then I accidently dropped my hot wand gem fixer and it landed on my big toe which had embossing powder on ...the hot wand melted the powder onto my toenail....very ouchy!

Debbie xx said...

Such wonderful powders!! Sadly I haven't embossed anything weird, but if I win I promise to give it a go :)

I embossed all my wedding place card settings with silver flowers - they looked fantastic on the white background with purple writing. I adore embossing - there's something magical about heating the powder and watching it melt! x

wendyp said...

Haven't embossed in a while but always love it when I do. Nothing weird, but it sometimes looks weird by the time I've finished - or at least the room does. :))

susiesu said...

Thanks Marion I will have to go and look for something 'weird' to emboss now. At least Bristol Zoo is closed for the night!!!! Have not used or seen WOW embossing powders before but the last thing I embossed was my son's wedding invitations - bride and groom on the back and entwined hearts and the word 'invitation'. Would love to try WOW embossing powders. lol susiesu xxx

Hi Marion. I've not embossed for years but as it happens I've been on a weekend craft retreat and we took along stuff we don't use. So I have been playing with my embossing powders and would love some more - especially coloured ones. The wierdest thing I embossed are words and flowers I made out of wire - they looked gorgeous! Thanks for a chance of winning :)

Nothing weirder than the kitchen work surface, and I was using a craft mat! Thought heat would lift it if I worked fast but it cooled to quickly...... it's wearing off slowly though. Need to emboss more and love the look of wow, hope I'm lucky! Thanks Mars xxx
