A LITTLE VIDEO TUTORIAL...

Tomorrow (25th October, sometimes this posts late) !!! is the first of the NEW Creative Keepsakes Shows on QVC, and to say I'm nervous AND excited is an understatement !!!
So much thought has gone into this show and the products in it (all hand picked by myself and Sarah, one of the lovely buyers)
It's aimed at Scrapbookers, beginners and advanced, let's face it if we scrap, we like to see anything associated LOL but we're also going to concentrate on Card makers and mini album enthusiasts... didn't want to leave you guys out !! So to get your mojo going I've done a little video tutorial HERE
Then, next month Amy's doing one on the 25th November (I think that's the right date) So we hope we can encourage and inspire you and we would love your feedback.
I sent a newsletter out today to all out newsletter subscribers, I know I know, about time !!! but in usual fashion I completely forgot a very important message... so here goes....
As from 1ST NOVEMBER until 31ST MARCH we will be closing the shop at 4PM instead of 5PM, EXCEPTING SATURDAYS where we will stay open till 5PM, this is to aid my lovely mum, who helps me no end, and she doesn't like going home in the dark !!! and seeing as I'm away for 3 weeks in January and she'll be holding the fort it's the least I can do !! Apologies for any inconvenience
I have been teasing a bit lately, as we've had some rather yummy stash delivered, and I've now managed to get a little bit of it on the website... CHECK IT OUT HERE, but seriously there's loads more in the shop, including the NEW Making Memories Scorer/Trimmer... This is soooooo cool!!!
There's probably loads of other things I want to say, but my brains elsewhere this evening... SORRY !!!
Anyhoo's I will again, try and get picci's to post of all the show samples.
Hugs
Marion xx

3 and counting....

We’re at the 3rd trade show.... this year !!!!!!
To say I’m tired is an understatement, but there’s something about the shows plus adrenaline that just keeps you going.
There’s nothing better than teaching people new techniques and that’s what these shows are all about. That and having fun of course !!!
We’re all set up...this is the calm before the storm ;) we have so many new things to show this year, it makes it all the more exciting.
One of the best things about trade show shows is meeting up with buddies in the industry and even though I see Leandra and Mark (PaperArtsy) every week (we quiz together) it was great to go out with them last night.

Richard and Mark look like they’re praying, when in fact they were having a bald off 不不不不 Steve has more hair than both of them put together so as a gesture of kindness he hid his. 不不不不不  It’s now 6am, I’m ready to jump in the shower and get this day started... think of me standing from 8am to 6pm.... I hope you get to sit a lot m…

One for the Mums ...

In celebration of the fabulous Catherine Pooler Inks about to hit the store, I thought I'd pop a little card on here. Take a folded card base, I always make mine from card stock, then I know the piece on top is going to match perfectly. then cut a smaller piece and perforate the edges, you can use a perforating blade, if your trimmer has one, or there are many dies out there that do this in a snip ! Using the WOW! Embossing Powder Layered Hearts Stamps, I inked up and stamped using the Catherine Pooler Daydream, Aquatini and Skylight Inks.
Embellish with a Uni Ball Signo White Gel Pen, one of my favourites !!!
Finish off with the Mothers day sentiment from the WOW! Embossing Powder Everyday Sentiment Stamps, inked in Versafine Onyx Black, adhere with foam pads. Check out PAPERBOX for a great selection  of card stock. Thanks for looking
