Oh what a night.....

There was I saying to Nina..."no-ones gonna turn up" I mean who wants to come out on a Saturday night?
We couldn't celebrate our birthday in the day, as we have a commitment to our lovely customers who come to classes regularly on a Saturday. So, the evening it was, and oh boy .... You didn't let us down.
It started off with the arrival of freshly baked cupcakes and big cakes.

Thanks so much to Momma Muff, Lovely Lucy, Gorgeous Jan and Amazing Ann, you done us proud girls !!!
I was a bit behind setting up the make & take (only cause I thought there wouldn't be anyone)!! But you came and came and came, in fact this was the first time we've ever had to do a number system so that everyone got a place :) :)
Here's a few of you enjoying yourselves, sorry i didn't get you all :( :(

Guess who broke the needle ??? LOL !!!

You done me proud girls, making your flowers

Hard at work...

Ann's using her flower as a very nice head piece !!

Me and one of my favourite little guys ( I have to say that, I have two sons) !!
Thank you for the present Lewis, it now has pride of place on the till :) :)
I think you'll all agree it was an amazing make & take and we thank you for your generosity to St Luke's :) :)
Big thanks to Barb, Nina and Barb, you all worked so hard, Nina you were hilarious selling out of the boxes, you guys do love a bit of new stash, today was busier than expected and we wasn't able to get all the new stuff out. 3 and counting....

We’re at the 3rd trade show.... this year !!!!!!
To say I’m tired is an understatement, but there’s something about the shows plus adrenaline that just keeps you going.
There’s nothing better than teaching people new techniques and that’s what these shows are all about. That and having fun of course !!!
We’re all set up...this is the calm before the storm ;) we have so many new things to show this year, it makes it all the more exciting.
One of the best things about trade show shows is meeting up with buddies in the industry and even though I see Leandra and Mark (PaperArtsy) every week (we quiz together) it was great to go out with them last night.

Richard and Mark look like they’re praying, when in fact they were having a bald off 不不不不 Steve has more hair than both of them put together so as a gesture of kindness he hid his. 不不不不不  It’s now 6am, I’m ready to jump in the shower and get this day started... think of me standing from 8am to 6pm.... I hope you get to sit a lot m…

One for the Mums ...

In celebration of the fabulous Catherine Pooler Inks about to hit the store, I thought I'd pop a little card on here. Take a folded card base, I always make mine from card stock, then I know the piece on top is going to match perfectly. then cut a smaller piece and perforate the edges, you can use a perforating blade, if your trimmer has one, or there are many dies out there that do this in a snip ! Using the WOW! Embossing Powder Layered Hearts Stamps, I inked up and stamped using the Catherine Pooler Daydream, Aquatini and Skylight Inks.
Embellish with a Uni Ball Signo White Gel Pen, one of my favourites !!!
Finish off with the Mothers day sentiment from the WOW! Embossing Powder Everyday Sentiment Stamps, inked in Versafine Onyx Black, adhere with foam pads. Check out PAPERBOX for a great selection  of card stock. Thanks for looking
