NEW STAMPS....

Ooooooo...... My new stamps are debuting on QVC on Monday night at 10pm (doing a happy dance) !!! In fact there's a few show's on on Monday so check out their SITE
Here I've made three tags using the same stamp, but with different techniques, Nina came up with the fabbi idea of stamping the flower head on its side and turning it into a butterfly..... GENIUS NINA !!!
The first two have been resisted and the third one has been colour tinted with VersaMagic (LOVE IT)!! and then stamped again in the same ink.
This one is so so so SIMPLE, I used a Craftwork Cards Scalloped Card but didn't want the scalloped edges so I just trimmed them off.... but rather than throw away the scallop bits I inked it with the same Memento ink as the stamped design and used it as a border. Toot Toot !!! waste not want not !!!
At the top of the hour is a super duper TSV, and then you'll have me for the rest of the hour, and you'll have to stay till the end as I've got a fabbi dabbi technique to share (insert evil laugh) !!!!
Then if you can join us again at 2pm on Tuesday where I'm sharing the hour with the lovely Julie Hickey from Craftwork Cards. If you can't, stick it on record, sit back with a cuppa and chillax !!
See you soon
Marion xx

3 and counting....

We’re at the 3rd trade show.... this year !!!!!!
To say I’m tired is an understatement, but there’s something about the shows plus adrenaline that just keeps you going.
There’s nothing better than teaching people new techniques and that’s what these shows are all about. That and having fun of course !!!
We’re all set up...this is the calm before the storm ;) we have so many new things to show this year, it makes it all the more exciting.
One of the best things about trade show shows is meeting up with buddies in the industry and even though I see Leandra and Mark (PaperArtsy) every week (we quiz together) it was great to go out with them last night.

Richard and Mark look like they’re praying, when in fact they were having a bald off 不不不不 Steve has more hair than both of them put together so as a gesture of kindness he hid his. 不不不不不  It’s now 6am, I’m ready to jump in the shower and get this day started... think of me standing from 8am to 6pm.... I hope you get to sit a lot m…

One for the Mums ...

In celebration of the fabulous Catherine Pooler Inks about to hit the store, I thought I'd pop a little card on here. Take a folded card base, I always make mine from card stock, then I know the piece on top is going to match perfectly. then cut a smaller piece and perforate the edges, you can use a perforating blade, if your trimmer has one, or there are many dies out there that do this in a snip ! Using the WOW! Embossing Powder Layered Hearts Stamps, I inked up and stamped using the Catherine Pooler Daydream, Aquatini and Skylight Inks.
Embellish with a Uni Ball Signo White Gel Pen, one of my favourites !!!
Finish off with the Mothers day sentiment from the WOW! Embossing Powder Everyday Sentiment Stamps, inked in Versafine Onyx Black, adhere with foam pads. Check out PAPERBOX for a great selection  of card stock. Thanks for looking
