You 2

How lucky was I. Only happened to be in Sugar and Spice when Marion's new stamps where put out. So I had to have them to add to my collection. They are yummy. Go in and Have a peek.
I decided to use the All Lined Up set for a simple layout featuring my niece and nephew. I just have to say "I want a nice photo of the you two" and they start mucking around, squeezing each other tight, digging each other in the ribs, but producing great pictures. Believe it or not, these were taken at the crematorium whilst taking flowers to Dad. I have to say, he would have got a kick out of the laughter and jokes that day.

I used three pieces of card stock; Dark brown, Royal Blue and White layering them on top of each other. The blue matched the lining of Jamie's top and gave way the whole colour scheme for the LO. The lime being the perfect contrast. Keeping the design to straight lines was again taken from the design of Jamie's jacket and the name of the stamp set used.

The two strips from the white card I cut off, were used to form ribbons for the borders of the pictures and stamped with the flowers and dots from the All Lined Up set. The Heart Pin flowers were perfect to sit above and below the smaller pictures without over powering their content. A little blue scribble flower with a lime green brad and a title using stamps from the Fat Funky Alphabet set, finished the page.

3 and counting....

We’re at the 3rd trade show.... this year !!!!!!
To say I’m tired is an understatement, but there’s something about the shows plus adrenaline that just keeps you going.
There’s nothing better than teaching people new techniques and that’s what these shows are all about. That and having fun of course !!!
We’re all set up...this is the calm before the storm ;) we have so many new things to show this year, it makes it all the more exciting.
One of the best things about trade show shows is meeting up with buddies in the industry and even though I see Leandra and Mark (PaperArtsy) every week (we quiz together) it was great to go out with them last night.

Richard and Mark look like they’re praying, when in fact they were having a bald off 不不不不 Steve has more hair than both of them put together so as a gesture of kindness he hid his. 不不不不不  It’s now 6am, I’m ready to jump in the shower and get this day started... think of me standing from 8am to 6pm.... I hope you get to sit a lot m…

One for the Mums ...

In celebration of the fabulous Catherine Pooler Inks about to hit the store, I thought I'd pop a little card on here. Take a folded card base, I always make mine from card stock, then I know the piece on top is going to match perfectly. then cut a smaller piece and perforate the edges, you can use a perforating blade, if your trimmer has one, or there are many dies out there that do this in a snip ! Using the WOW! Embossing Powder Layered Hearts Stamps, I inked up and stamped using the Catherine Pooler Daydream, Aquatini and Skylight Inks.
Embellish with a Uni Ball Signo White Gel Pen, one of my favourites !!!
Finish off with the Mothers day sentiment from the WOW! Embossing Powder Everyday Sentiment Stamps, inked in Versafine Onyx Black, adhere with foam pads. Check out PAPERBOX for a great selection  of card stock. Thanks for looking
Hugs Marion xx
