As cute as a button!

Hi again everyone, well its my time to create this month and this is what i have come up with! Using Cute as a Button stamps from Sugar and memento ink pads, and a pink theme (pink has to be my fav colour!) i made the following card, i think i have a major flower thing going on a the minute, as everything im making has a flower in it, on or or is a flower!

Back to the stamps, as soon as i saw them, i knew they would be just soooo much fun! They are just totally cute, and the possiblilities of uses for them, you can use them for so many things, i could be here all day with list after list of uses for the buttons! So i had to use them for this months project, they are called Cute as a Button stamps from Sugar and Spice. I love the stitching on them too, such a brill set of stamps!

Well thats me now for a couple weeks, so see you then, with my next creation!
Till then, take care
Nicki

  3. Now you justknow I'm going to love this....after all it is PINK !!!!
It's funny, as when i design my stamps i have ideas in my head and THEN design them around that....I designed the "stitching" to be used as a flower stem...BUT I love the way you've used it around the edge of the card. xx

3 and counting....

We’re at the 3rd trade show.... this year !!!!!!
To say I’m tired is an understatement, but there’s something about the shows plus adrenaline that just keeps you going.
There’s nothing better than teaching people new techniques and that’s what these shows are all about. That and having fun of course !!!
We’re all set up...this is the calm before the storm ;) we have so many new things to show this year, it makes it all the more exciting.
One of the best things about trade show shows is meeting up with buddies in the industry and even though I see Leandra and Mark (PaperArtsy) every week (we quiz together) it was great to go out with them last night.

Richard and Mark look like they’re praying, when in fact they were having a bald off 不不不不 Steve has more hair than both of them put together so as a gesture of kindness he hid his. 不不不不不  It’s now 6am, I’m ready to jump in the shower and get this day started... think of me standing from 8am to 6pm.... I hope you get to sit a lot m…

One for the Mums ...

In celebration of the fabulous Catherine Pooler Inks about to hit the store, I thought I'd pop a little card on here. Take a folded card base, I always make mine from card stock, then I know the piece on top is going to match perfectly. then cut a smaller piece and perforate the edges, you can use a perforating blade, if your trimmer has one, or there are many dies out there that do this in a snip ! Using the WOW! Embossing Powder Layered Hearts Stamps, I inked up and stamped using the Catherine Pooler Daydream, Aquatini and Skylight Inks.
Embellish with a Uni Ball Signo White Gel Pen, one of my favourites !!!
Finish off with the Mothers day sentiment from the WOW! Embossing Powder Everyday Sentiment Stamps, inked in Versafine Onyx Black, adhere with foam pads. Check out PAPERBOX for a great selection  of card stock. Thanks for looking
