As promised, here's the piccy of our lovely UPS guy making our 21 box delivery.

Oh, he so deserved a cup of tea after dropping of that many boxes and so he got one!!
All our new yummies have gone down so well, we've had over 100 new paper lines, some great new books, the Tim Holtz ones are just Brill, the embellies are great, the buttons are just so round and shiney!! the bling is so sparkly and the NEW FISKARS PUNCHES are flying out, no surprise as they are blimmin' gorgeous.
On Sunday we had our usual monthly BINGO CROP and MICHELLE (a newbie) joined us, and what did she bring with her....only home baked CUPCAKES!!!! Thank you Michelle!!!

Talking of cakes, Helen celebrated her BIRTHDAY with us on Sunday.....So what did we do??? we got her a GIANT FRENCH FANCY of course!!!

Want to say a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Fabbi and Adrienne, whom without their help on Saturday we wouldn't have got any of the new stock out, Nina and myself thought we could manage, but we were so busy in the shop we realised we couldn't do it all, so thanks girls, but don't feel sorry for them - giving up their saturday morning, they did after all get first pickings of all the new yummies. On Fabbi's side I thought it was another pile of papers to go on display and then realised that it was her pile that she was taking home.! also mum and Polly worked tirelessly on Friday pricing up, so all in all THANKS EVERYONE xxx
Oh yes, just in case you thought you'd got away with it JUNE, yes you JUNE, I'm going to nag you on here, now I know you read it every day....Don't just label your alcohol inks.....USE them!!! and your Glimmer Mist and ALL the other STASH you get and DON'T use, I'll be checking on you!!!!.

Hello Marion, not been here before. I visited your store on Sunday it was fabulous. Will definitely be returning. Lovely papers and other goodies, but i had hubby with me so had to be self controlled this time (never easy). Was thrilled to find one of the new fiskars apron lace border punches! hopefully will be returning this weekend, weather permitting. Those cup cakes look fabulous! have a good week, hugs Linda x

3 and counting....

We’re at the 3rd trade show.... this year !!!!!!
To say I’m tired is an understatement, but there’s something about the shows plus adrenaline that just keeps you going.
There’s nothing better than teaching people new techniques and that’s what these shows are all about. That and having fun of course !!!
We’re all set up...this is the calm before the storm ;) we have so many new things to show this year, it makes it all the more exciting.
One of the best things about trade show shows is meeting up with buddies in the industry and even though I see Leandra and Mark (PaperArtsy) every week (we quiz together) it was great to go out with them last night.

Richard and Mark look like they’re praying, when in fact they were having a bald off 不不不不 Steve has more hair than both of them put together so as a gesture of kindness he hid his. 不不不不不  It’s now 6am, I’m ready to jump in the shower and get this day started... think of me standing from 8am to 6pm.... I hope you get to sit a lot m…

One for the Mums ...

In celebration of the fabulous Catherine Pooler Inks about to hit the store, I thought I'd pop a little card on here. Take a folded card base, I always make mine from card stock, then I know the piece on top is going to match perfectly. then cut a smaller piece and perforate the edges, you can use a perforating blade, if your trimmer has one, or there are many dies out there that do this in a snip ! Using the WOW! Embossing Powder Layered Hearts Stamps, I inked up and stamped using the Catherine Pooler Daydream, Aquatini and Skylight Inks.
Embellish with a Uni Ball Signo White Gel Pen, one of my favourites !!!
Finish off with the Mothers day sentiment from the WOW! Embossing Powder Everyday Sentiment Stamps, inked in Versafine Onyx Black, adhere with foam pads. Check out PAPERBOX for a great selection  of card stock. Thanks for looking
Hugs Marion xx
