TIME TO SAY GOODBYE...

Well, I knew the day would come at some time and alas it has come....
NO I'm not giving up the shop, SILLY..... But, I do have to say goodbye to my trusty old pyjamas (I'm typing this with a tear in my eye) I've had these Jammies for near on 15 years and whilst they were not used on a regular basis, they were always there for me on my trips aways. One person who will understand this is ADRIENNE as she has a pair virtually the same and the same age, all I will say Adrienne is careful when you roll over as you may hear a sudden ripping sound and.....oooops there they go!!!
I have to whizz out and buy a new pair now as I'm away with the girls next week and well..... I just would'nt do that to them!!!!
I haven't heard from any of them, so I'm assuming the three weekenders got back OK and had a great time inbetween.
Amanada (Your Touch of Craft) has FINALLY blogged...YAY!! check her out over on my Blogs I Love, for those of you that live in gorgeous Suffolk take a look at her classes and treat yourself.
Oh... and HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUE xxx

I broke a pair of my fave pjs at the weekend, they're unsalvageable, so I'll have to order some more from Long Tall Sally. They were 5 years old though, haha.

3 and counting....

We’re at the 3rd trade show.... this year !!!!!!
To say I’m tired is an understatement, but there’s something about the shows plus adrenaline that just keeps you going.
There’s nothing better than teaching people new techniques and that’s what these shows are all about. That and having fun of course !!!
We’re all set up...this is the calm before the storm ;) we have so many new things to show this year, it makes it all the more exciting.
One of the best things about trade show shows is meeting up with buddies in the industry and even though I see Leandra and Mark (PaperArtsy) every week (we quiz together) it was great to go out with them last night.

Richard and Mark look like they’re praying, when in fact they were having a bald off 不不不不 Steve has more hair than both of them put together so as a gesture of kindness he hid his. 不不不不不  It’s now 6am, I’m ready to jump in the shower and get this day started... think of me standing from 8am to 6pm.... I hope you get to sit a lot m…

One for the Mums ...

In celebration of the fabulous Catherine Pooler Inks about to hit the store, I thought I'd pop a little card on here. Take a folded card base, I always make mine from card stock, then I know the piece on top is going to match perfectly. then cut a smaller piece and perforate the edges, you can use a perforating blade, if your trimmer has one, or there are many dies out there that do this in a snip ! Using the WOW! Embossing Powder Layered Hearts Stamps, I inked up and stamped using the Catherine Pooler Daydream, Aquatini and Skylight Inks.
Embellish with a Uni Ball Signo White Gel Pen, one of my favourites !!!
Finish off with the Mothers day sentiment from the WOW! Embossing Powder Everyday Sentiment Stamps, inked in Versafine Onyx Black, adhere with foam pads. Check out PAPERBOX for a great selection  of card stock. Thanks for looking
