ROAD TRIP......

Well we're off on our ROAD TRIP this afternoon. Myself, Nina and Polly are descending on Birmingham (watch out)!!!!! for the next three days. I love this trade show, whilst it is smaller than CHA it's much more personal and you get to meet up with so many old friends and catch up, but it's not all about tea and biscuits, I can't believe I just said that!!! It is about supporting our British Distributors and keeping this industry turning, oh alright it's also about having a bit of FUN and getting some super duper goodies for you lovely crafters out there.
Our CHA shipment should be arriving in the next two weeks or earlier if we're lucky. So we'll be busy, busy, busy unpacking, checking, pricing and then trying to find room for it.
Ricky wanted to publicly say THANK YOU to ME for such a romantic Valentines night last night....Yes I fell asleep at 8 o'clock, woke up at 11 o'clock and then went to bed, BUT I must say where was HE when I woke up at 4am????? Yes, that's right ASLEEP.... I ask you !!!!
For those of you that read my blog previously on being labelled a TYPE A personality I would just like to point out Bev and Shim, I haven't even packed yet!!!! Admittedly it's all under control and there in my head, all the ironing's done and everything's in piles ..... ready to be packed, so...OK I ADMIT I'M A TYPE A !!!!
I'll give you a an update on our return of all the yummies coming your way. Great weekend everyone (what's left of it) and see you soon. xxx

3 and counting....

We’re at the 3rd trade show.... this year !!!!!!
To say I’m tired is an understatement, but there’s something about the shows plus adrenaline that just keeps you going.
There’s nothing better than teaching people new techniques and that’s what these shows are all about. That and having fun of course !!!
We’re all set up...this is the calm before the storm ;) we have so many new things to show this year, it makes it all the more exciting.
One of the best things about trade show shows is meeting up with buddies in the industry and even though I see Leandra and Mark (PaperArtsy) every week (we quiz together) it was great to go out with them last night.

Richard and Mark look like they’re praying, when in fact they were having a bald off 不不不不 Steve has more hair than both of them put together so as a gesture of kindness he hid his. 不不不不不  It’s now 6am, I’m ready to jump in the shower and get this day started... think of me standing from 8am to 6pm.... I hope you get to sit a lot m…

One for the Mums ...

In celebration of the fabulous Catherine Pooler Inks about to hit the store, I thought I'd pop a little card on here. Take a folded card base, I always make mine from card stock, then I know the piece on top is going to match perfectly. then cut a smaller piece and perforate the edges, you can use a perforating blade, if your trimmer has one, or there are many dies out there that do this in a snip ! Using the WOW! Embossing Powder Layered Hearts Stamps, I inked up and stamped using the Catherine Pooler Daydream, Aquatini and Skylight Inks.
Embellish with a Uni Ball Signo White Gel Pen, one of my favourites !!!
Finish off with the Mothers day sentiment from the WOW! Embossing Powder Everyday Sentiment Stamps, inked in Versafine Onyx Black, adhere with foam pads. Check out PAPERBOX for a great selection  of card stock. Thanks for looking

Here’s a great little Technique, that shows you how to embed your WOW! Sparkles without the use of adhesives.
