I got to have a little play the other day with a new mould coming out with WOW Embossing Powders soooooon....fingers crossed !!! So put it to work alongside some rather yummy buttons, and a canvas and created this little treasure....  Then I thought, why stop there, let's add a bit of colour, so using the fabbi PaperArtsy paints I coloured this little box canvas and did the same....I love mixing white with ivory, it doesn't matter what colour the background is...it works !!! It's not often I get photos of Nicky (one of my sons girlfriends) but I got in there before she put her hand in front of her face....CAPTURED !!!! So I thought I'd celebrate the fact and use the photo on my Jones Craft Design Team Post... I was lucky enough to use the KaiserCraft Dream Big Collection and oh boy...what a pleasure, it's absolutely gorgeous, probably has something to do with the fact that there's TEAL in there LOL !!!! I gave the background a little splatter with my fav Heidi Swapp Color Shine in ...yep, you guessed it TEAL !!! Their was sooooooo many pieces to choose from in the Collectible pack, I'm not very good at making decisions Then it was a case of cutting and layering.... and adding some tiny sequins - it would be rude not to !!! I dont get many of these.....No, I'm not looking for the sympathy vote LOL :) but I do appreciate them when they come along. This particular day was an impromptu BBQ, the sun was out and the boys were round with their girlfriends, so out came the camera and SNAP, SNAP, SNAP !!! Of course I had to put it into a Project Life layout, it would have been rude not to !!  I've used the scrummy WRMK Albums Made Easy Journaling cards Along with Project Life Design K Page Protectors. Here's a lovely little project to make for a friend or just be plain 'naughty' and keep it for yourself :) :) Just pick out the bits from the Octagonal kit that you want to use and then cover in gesso, using a baby wipe, let dry. Using the WOW Cracked Leather Stamp, ink up with Versamark and stamp on background octagon and emboss with your chosen colour. To cover the rest mix Vintage Champagne and Vintage Jade WOW Embossing Powders and emboss. For the word HOME, emboss with chosen powder, then add another two layers, this time using the Clear Gloss Ultra High Powder. Adhere it all with Pinflair Glue, and there you have a great little gift. Well, I'd love to say I've been sunning myself in the Maldives or skiing down a slope in Colorado....but, alas, it's none of the above.....I've just not been Blogging, I've been a very very very very bad blogger. I'm so into Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest I completely forget about poor 'ole Blogger.....sorry all you Blogsters out there. I'm going to make up for it (hopefully) with a little project I've just done for the Jones Design Team. I've used the Gorgeous Graphic 45 Botanical Tea papers, along with their Cardstock flowers and some yummy Kaisercraft paper blooms. I used the Sugar and Spice Tab Album along with some background papers and mounted them on the chipboard, both sides. I also cut a few extra bits from the card stock to make a couple of layers in the book. Now for the front..... Firstly, I used my fav, PaperArtsy Grunge Paste through a hexagon stencil. And all that !!!! We have been sooooooo busy, what with Project Life and other fabbi classes, then we've been to and are going to shows, I just feel like my feet haven't touched the ground lately. Hey, I'm not complaining, we are so grateful to all our customers, we love you all :) :) So, what's good in our lives, well for starters we have another massive Project Life and pocket scrapbooking supplies order about to hit our shelves, having just got back from CHSI....the awards for speedy service goes out to PaperArtsy and Woodware for getting our orders from the show to us WEDNESDAY and YESTERDAY... You wait till you see the Donna Salazar inks, the colours are AMAZING !!! And they are going to work so well with the NEW paints and stamps from PaperArtsy....ohhhh and their Stencils are fandabbidoodah...we love them. I did a sneak of some of JOFY's NEW stamps and already we've had orders, I think I'm going to need to get some more in. We are, after all, going to...

You know that feeling..."no mojo' ? Well before Christmas I felt flat, I felt like my mojo had left me forever. Then Christmas came, I had a good rest (sort of) LOL !!! And BAM !!!!!!! It's back. Project Life has changed me, seriously, I'm crafting for me not just the shop, I'm finding it so quick, simple yet, still creative, I'm doing it my way not the PL way, but that's OK, I don't think the PL police are going to get me :) :) I'm so lucky to be on the Jones Crafts Design Team as I get to play with so many lovely things, one of them being KaiserCrafts Captured Moments, their version of PL..... it's gorgeous !!!!
