sugar and spice

Well here we are safe and sound in the beautiful State of Wisconsin, we're having a little vacation, as they say here in the States before we descend on CHA. we flew into Chicago then followed Jerry upto his beautiful home in Lake Geneva, where we were greeted by his gorgeous wife Sue...these guys are just the best !!! After a quick freshen up they took us down to their boat, where we drove across the lake to Gordy's restaurant... Now I know it's usually at this point that I share with you the picture of the sumptuous 1/2lb burger I had...BUT....Well basically I was so hungry I ate it, then remembered I hadnt taken a photo...whoops. But I did get a few shots on and off the boat of Sue and Ricky....by the way the blurry brightness you see is called THE SUN !!! When we arrived at Jerry and Sues we were greeted with a rather large box that had been sent over from the gorgeous Donna Valdez who lives in California, I opened it with excitement as I had no idea what was in the...

That's what I'm doing right now !!! I've been busy prepping all day for the Christmas Craft on QVC this Thursday, starting at 5pm. Here's a little sneak at a set of my NEW stamps that are going to be on there... And.... I'm so excited as they've been teamed up with the one and only Sandy Piercey, she's got two fabby sets on there that totally complement mine :) :) Way to go Sandy !!! I'm also doubly happy as the Presenter is....................Simon Biagi....Love working with him :) :) :)  So, tune in if you can, or pop it on record and chillax later and watch it with a glass of wine !! It's been quite a weekend, with all the girls from Bucks and Beds and Herts, I had an absolute cracking time. Not sure if I'll ever be allowed back in Bas Vegas, although admitedly we were wearing masks, so they may not recognise me. Here's me and the lovely Emma. Assuming you didn't recognise me ... Here's a quick L/O using the Clever Handmade Papers. Always have and always will love Heidi Grace's work. The woman is FAB. The pic's not the best, (sorry Kirsty) :) To get the "ruffle" along the bottom, come and grab some of our gorgeous seam binding and simply pull the centre thread and there you have it.....Ruffles !!!! No... It's just a bit of shadowing, after yesterday's card, I fancied going for a shadow look, so just take your stamp, ink it up in one colour and stamp it down, then repeat in second colour, this time slightly offsetting it - oh the joy of clear stamps !!! I've had a bit of a fetish lately for greens and blues.....So I tried really, really hard to break away, didn't quite make it as I used the Aegean Blue and the Pixie Dust, both VersaMagic inks....LOVE them !!!! I will slowly wean myself off blues and greens, but it may take a while :) :)  Things are hotting up at Sugar and Spice, we're getting ready for our fabbi Demo Day on Saturday, all the yummy stock is arriving and we can't wait to see Lyn's creations...the woman is so talented...No pressure Lyn LOL !!!
