I was all posh on Tuesday, well, OK, I wasn't, but I did get invited to the Pinterest coffee morning in London.
And I must say, it was fabulous, I learnt so much, had lots of fun and spent the day with two lovely ladies....oh yeah and had a cream tea just to top the day off !!
The coffee morning was held at the fabulous Hospital Club in Endell Street, that, up until 1981, it was a maternity hospital and now it's a private members club for the creative arts. There was some amazing wallpaper in one of the loo's but I can't put it on here as I know we have some young readers, so you'll have to ask to look next time you're in the shop !!!
Paula Poston and Julie Hickey were my London buddies, and we popped into Covent Garden and had a lovely lunch, in a French restaurant served by a Spanish man...
So it was American burgers and chunky chips all round LOL !!!
Julie broke her glasses and looked a little squiffy ( her words) but she still looks gorge to us!!!!
We enjoyed a little retail therapy, said goodbye to Julie and as we were walking back to the tube, we happened upon the Aveda salon and tea room, so got a little light refreshment along with a MAHOOSIVE scone, cream and jam...
And that was the end of our wonderful day out in London :) :) Thank you Pinterest and The Handmade Fair
Pssst.....did you know that you can now get entry only tickets for the HMF if you don't want a workshop, make and take and talky thingy....check them out HERE
The excitement continues though as Christmas has started to arrived at Sugar and Spice
We've just got some lovely little bits in along with a fabulous 180 sheet pad, with THE MOST GORGEOUS papers in, but hurry we don't have many !!!
Then I got even more excited (those of you who know me and my love of pocket scrapbooking will understand this) .....
Ahem.....need I say more !!!
Oh yeah and I've added some more pocket scrapbooking (project life) and regular scrapbooking classes, although there's nothing regular about this page to the class lists....go take a PEEK
Right, I think I've said enough for now. Apart from thank you for supporting your local independent retailer, wherever they may be, I'm on my own little mission here, but I can't do it without you...so THANK YOU
Hugs

The food looks fab and I might just have to pop in and take a look at the toilet pictures.
