DESIGN TEAM CALL........

For over a year now Sugar and Spice have been designing their own range of Clear Stamps. We are now seeking some fabbi people to expand their existing Design Team. As a design team member you will be expected to post one project a month on the Sugar and Spice BLOG and to promote our stamps on other forums, where possible. Projects may at times be requested for display in the shop or/and at shows. These will be returned when finished with. All we ask is that you commit to being a Design Team Member for one calendar year. Applications should consist of 1 layout, 1 card and 1 project of your choice, showing us your stamping skills - if you can use Sugar and Spice Stamps, GREAT, if not, don't worry, use any other cool company's stamps, this will not affect your application as all we are interested in is your use of stamps. Applications should also include a little bit about yourself, what you would describe as your style, forums/design teams that you already belong to, including u

NEW AND EXCITING......

Things are coming your way. I've just heard from a lovely lady that the NEW STASH is on it's way, Oh my, not only am I excited about ALL the NEW yummy products BUT.... I'm REALLY excited about my RUBBERMAID shelving for the utility room. Those of you that have been to the States will probably know what Rubbermaid is (no it's not a kinky sex aid) but it is a shelving system that is so simple I can't believe we don't have it here, Ohhh I'm going to be so organised with my washing and ironing....sorry I know it probably sounds really sad and I agree....it is, but Amanda will agree with me, won't you????? Oh, please say you do!!! Anyway, getting back to the products, you're gonna love the NEW Heidi Swapp - looks like we'll be doing a demo day for this - watch out for the e mail. Then there's also NEW Jenni Bowlin, Teresa Collins and more and more and more and more. Wooo Hooo !!!!

KNOWING YOUR REAL FRIENDS...

It's funny how you go through life thinking you have found your true friends, only to find out that there are a lot of shallow people out there who want to be your friend because it suits them and that they are not really your friend at all, it's funny how they always play the victim. But a TRUE friend treats you with respect and is there for you......So today I grasped one of my TRUE friends with both hands and what do FRIENDS do BEST......SHOPPING, of course. We hit Lakeside like a couple of whirling dervishes, two women on a mission, Jasper Conran was our first stop and I got a lovely top, full of flowers, bling and a snippet here and there of organza. Next stop Monsoon, here, I fell in love with a top, one size was too small, it made my boobies look like a couple of helium filled ballons and the other size was too big, but I just had to have it, so did i decide on the smaller one and promise to go on a diet??? Did I heck, I went for the bigger one and will adjust it !! We w

ALLEY PALLY.....

Blimey, I can't believe it's been 11 days since I last blogged....Sorry JUNE!!!! I did have a good excuse....we were preparing for Alley Pally. Friday was set up day and we done it in record time, then we headed back home to relax before the weekend, played a little Scrabble on Facebook, as you do!!! got a bit of sleep and was up and out the door at 6.45am off to pick Polly up, moving on up the A127 to get Adrienne and Fabiana and .....We're off!!!! We get to the Pally rather early, Sorry girls!!! do a few little tweaks here and there, to the stand not us!! and then the doors open. At first I really wasn't happy with our stand position as they had moved us, but it turned out to be THE BEST, so thanks for that Christine! I've got to say I think this was the busiest one yet! and I should think all you yummy ladies that couldn't get on the stand thought so to, apologies for the crowds, but we do warn you that Saturday is elbow sharpening day! This is a before shot

BALLS, CUPCAKES AND EGGS.....

There we were about to start our work day when in comes Chris (Life as Art) and asks us if we've been to the new soft play area?? obviously we hadn't .... so off we trotted through the farm and into the NEW SOFT PLAY AREA. We were greeted by an array of Blue, Yellow and Red giant SLIDES, some with mats, some with death drops and some going into a pool of BALLS!!! The mat one was fine, I was worried that I wasn't going to fit into the slide, then breathed a sigh of relief when I realised they had built it big enough for me, Yay!. So off we slide and start to feel like a young child again, Nina's getting excited and wants to go up to the BIG ONE, she bottles it a bit, and I don't blame her at all, I bottled it a LOT, it was just a sheer drop - if you don't believe me you'll have to have a go yourself!! But Nina DID pluck up the courage and off she went, yay for her, I wasn't doing that one - I'm not that silly!! I did venture onto the BLUE one and la

WAFFLE, WAFFLE, WAFFLE.....

Do you ever wish you had a power that could make time stand still??? I do!!! The days are whizzing by so quickly, things have been so busy and I just can't fit it all in!!! But fit it in I must...we have Ally Pally approaching FAST and we've been packing boxes like there's no tomorrow, Oh I do miss Maggie, she worked like a military operation, I on the other hand am so useless at being organised. We've been making up samples for the show, to get you all inspired, along with designing the MAY CLASSES , I've even designed a couple more stamp sets, just in time for the show, Yay!!! Then to top it all, Myself, Polly and Nina are doing an NVQ each - yeah, THANKS SARA!!!! Myself and Polly had our tests on Friday - if you're a young person reading this - listen to me when I say STUDY HARD AT SCHOOL, as when you take a test at the age of 45 you'll be glad you did!!! actually the results were pretty good, but I did think why am I putting myself through this??? but we
