Well, I'd love to say I've been sunning myself in the Maldives or skiing down a slope in Colorado....but, alas, it's none of the above.....I've just not been Blogging, I've been a very very very very bad blogger. I'm so into Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest I completely forget about poor 'ole Blogger.....sorry all you Blogsters out there.
I'm going to make up for it (hopefully) with a little project I've just done for the Jones Design Team.
I've used the Gorgeous Graphic 45 Botanical Tea papers, along with their Cardstock flowers and some yummy Kaisercraft paper blooms.
I used the Sugar and Spice Tab Album along with some background papers and mounted them on the chipboard, both sides.
I also cut a few extra bits from the card stock to make a couple of layers in the book.
Now for the front..... Firstly, I used my fav, PaperArtsy Grunge Paste through a hexagon stencil.
Then using the flower layers I spritzed them with water to help break down the fibres to enable me to screw them up.....just like this...
Once unfolded, layer them up and glue together.
Now to build up the front...using the KaiserCraft paper flowers and a few leaves made from the Cardstock.
Then add the obligatory glitter :) :)
Add some ribbon to the book rings and there you have it, I just need to pop some photos in there now....OK...who's seen my Selphy :)
Hugs
