RUFFLES...

This month for FANTASTIC RIBBONS it's all about RUFFLES...
Now, what can be better than Grosgrain ribbon ????? POLKADOT GROSGRAIN !!!! I love it !!!
Here I've used the Polkadot Grosgrain in red with white dots and cream with red dots.
Take a length and do a running stitch along one edge, keep it close to the edge !, do this on both ribbons
I then die cut a piece of Kraft card stock, laid a doily on it and gave it a light spritz with Shimmerz, just to give it a bit of "texture" and stamped a sentiment on. Attach this to the front of your card. Using a strong double sided tape attach the ribbons to the card stock

Then taking some twine, wrap this around the card tying off at the front, this takes the eye away from the join of the ribbons !

I then took a couple of buttons, and tied them together with more twine...Love Twine !!! Keith.... we NEED twine, if you're reading this !!! and finished off with a bow, glue this to the ribbons, using Glossy Accents and "popped" a couple of hat pins in to finish it off !!
