Hello Ladies on this lovely crisp blue morning.
Today's project is a card for a friend recovering post surgery, using the traditional theme of flowers.
I've had these little terracota vases for ages and not gotten round to using them as I thought they might look a bit old fashioned, but combined with the modern lines of the "In a Word" stamp I think it's brought it up to date. The flowers were punched from swiss dot bazzil cardstock which I also used to mat the stamp and coordinating velum using two sizes of punch. I drew the stems on using a Sakura gellyroll pen and added a little bling to the flower detail on the stamp. Finishing off with a piece of ribbon I had left over that was just the right size - don't you love it when that happens?
Happy stamping :)
Love it.
