Its one of my best friend's birthdays in January and I sometimes think she gets 
a bit neglected with all the post Christmas malais. So I wanted her to feel special, she also scraps and for that reason the gift needed to include something handmade for her. Here, I've used brown paper to wrap her pressie but have stamped it with go

lden cupcakes to make it unique.Taking some cream ribbon saved from Amazon wrapped presents at Christmas, I repeated the theme this time using the tiny cupcake stamp but again in gold. To cover the ribbon joins and finish off the effect, I cut a circle of matt gold card using my new Cricut, punched a scalloped circle from the brown paper and stamped another cupcake on that, mounting it on little foam pads for dimension.
I don't think I'm quite up to making my own wrapping paper for Christmas just yet, but for a one off it's a pretty memorable thing to do and stamping is the perfect technique for it.
