BUSY..BUSY...BUSY

The last two weeks have been busy, busy, busy !!! Two weekends away teaching for two fab companies plus teaching in the shop...this girl's getting old !!!! The first weekend was a Retailer Training Day for Jones Craft, they all made a fabbi canvas using  gorgeous KaiserCraft stash, with a dash of PaperArtsy and WOW embossing Powder, 1 day, 2 classes, 36 people !!! The next weekend saw me away again, after teaching some of my lovely ladies in the shop, this time another Retailer Training Day for WOW Embossing Powders, 1 day, 2 classes, 26 people !! I knew my old bones would suffer so I did a bit of limbering up in readiness. They created a great tag-nique book all ready to pop in their stores along with a scrummy little canvas. Then I teased some of them with a new mould ...hopefully coming soon !!! We launched 5 new colours, 4 new stamps and 2 new moulds, to say they were spoilt was an understatement !!! Both companies were so generous !! Right I must d...

As most of you should know by now, having announced it back in January ....The shop is closing, after 12 wonderful years I'm shutting the doors on 21st June 2015. It's been an amazing journey and I'm pleased to say my journey will continue, I'm still going to be active in this wonderful industry, AND I'll be blogging so much more, including video tutorials (see, I listen to you) the website Sugar and Spice Crafts  will be overflowing with yummy stash and I'll be out and about teaching classes, so you're not getting rid of me that easy :) So, without further ado I'd like to invite you to come along to the shop at Barleylands on 21st and share in some nibbles and Prosseco and say goodbye to Barbie and me. No tears. Just laughter, and I'd like you to fill out a tag and place on our memory tree. So it's not fa...

BOSTON Day 1

well.....technically we're not in Boston, but actually a place called Wesborough, which is near Natick which has a wonderful shopping mall AND Cheesecake Factory. I don't want anyone being jealous and thinking 'oh she's soooo lucky' as I would just like to remind you it's near freezing, there's snow on the ground and rain in the clouds :) :) The first class was taught to all the lovely reps yesterday, which meant we had to wait to have the room prepared...well, we couldn't wait around for them to do it so Richard took things into his own hands and tried to do his 'let's clear this table in one fell swoop' It didn't work !!!!! LOL... This is the lovely Katie one of the Collins' girls making a quick exit.... So the class was taught and then we had to go to the airport and pick up the lovely Jen, who's joining us for the weekend. Richard was cold and needed a jumper so it was him who actually suggested the mall...YAY !!!! And...

NEW CLASSES AND SOME...

2 NEW classes just released....love Mixed Media ? You'll love these.... http://sugarandspicecrafts.co.uk/pages/classes 2 quick reminders.... 1. We are closed Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday 2. We are still open and probably will be for another month or so...BUT, if you haven't filled up your loyalty card by the time we close, keep hold of it as I'm TRYING to find a way of putting in place a loyalty scheme on line and I will TRY and find a way of working the old one in with the new.... That's the fairest I can be and I hope you'll agree :) :) although if I can't come up with a solution, DON'T throw stones at me, after all it is a free service !!! If I can't find a way of working it, a new on line scheme will come into play and the shop loyalty cards will become NULL and VOID !! I am at the mercy of my web provider to implement this. In the meantime we have a rather large order coming in soon, I can still add to it so if anyone has special...
