STARVED....

Stash starved that is..... We had a super duper delivery on Thursday of soooo much yummy stash, we're still pricing it !!! I'm planning on getting some of it out today, its going to be a bit like a square peg in a round hole, think I need a bigger shop (sorry Ricky I didn't just say that) so bear with :) :) Many of you know my love for ribbon, well, this is just one box of yummy new ribbons... And this is our lovely Paula Poston hugging AND not letting go, I daren't show her the others, we had to prise them out of her hands to show another customer, don't worry she got to hug them again :) :) and went away with a happy purchase :) :) Looks like we're going to have to re-order the fabulous Sparkle Medium, you loved that, we knew you would. !!!! No sooner will we get this lot out and we have another delivery coming on Wednesday....see I told you I needed a bigger shop. LOL !! Happy crafting everyone Hugs Marion xxx - Posted using BlogPress from my iPad

IT'S ARRIVED......

the fabulous sparkle medium, that is, the hardest decision was what colour to play with, but play with, we did. I spent the evening making samples for Ally Pally with Polly and Jayne, I accented my little house with it and Polly stencilled her house with it Jayne made a beautiful wall hanging, it was still drying, so you'll just have to pop in the shop to see it. We also had another Pan Pastel delivery, this time including their fabulous Masks. We've got some serious deliveries coming this week, so in the process Nina and myself worked tirelessly to make room for it all, although I know a lot of it isn't going to last long ;) It's my last day on QVC today until the beginning of April as I'm off to teach for WOW in Birmingham (it's a bit like déjà vu) LOL Julie Hickey (Craftwork Cards) is up first followed by me, we've both got some FAB items and I'm going to definitely try and get all my demos in...yeah right !!! I'll post pics as the yummy stash arr...

HAPPY POST...

What a lovely morning, not only is the sun shinning, but the lovely Mars, sent me a beautiful handmade flower, made with the fabulous Craftwork Cards Flowers, but she wrapped it in tissue and then put it in a gorgeous gift box....so much care and attention went in to it THANK YOU Mars, you're amazing !!!! A QUICK LITTLE TUTORIAL....

NO GLUE BASKET Using one of the speciality cardstocks from QVC item 503167  (this is perfect, as the weight is just right and it has the added advantage of a gorgeous speciality finish) cut a square 7.5” x 7.5”  then using a scoreboard, score at 2.5” on all sides.  On the corners, score from the score join to the edge it should look like this Then fold on all lines, pinch in corners and punch holes in folded corners for the ribbon. Add decorative border strips to the four sides, thread ribbon and tie. Fill with treats and enjoy !!! These can be made in any size, as long as you start with a square and divide your score lines by 3
